From the Athletic Director

Welcome to Ridgecroft Athletics!  My name is Susan Colvin and I am in my seventh  year as the Director of Athletics. I graduated from Ridgecroft and have been teaching here for 15 years.  I look forward to the challenge of guiding our student athletes as they participate in competitive sports which are essential in providing personal growth, lessons in teamwork, self-discipline, sportsmanship, and leadership all for the good of a common goal, the team. We offer a diverse selection of sports at Ridgecroft with 90% of our middle and upper school students participating. Ridgecroft is a member of the NCISAA which provides rules and regulations for team play and hosts all State Championships for Independent School in NC. We are also a founding member of the Tarheel Independent Conference, a 1A conference located in Northeastern North Carolina.
