Ridgecroft School is excited to have eleven dedicated seniors interning across various departments this spring, a testament to the school’s commitment to providing students with meaningful real-world experience while also supporting the daily operations of the school.
Billy Jenkins, the athletic director, has welcomed six senior interns to his team: Tyler Berryman, Dawson Collins, Lucas Cutchins, Ben Francis, Forrest Kea, and Ashtin Odom. These students will assist with various athletic programs and events and gain valuable hands-on experience in sports management and administration.
Barbara Outland, Director of Advancement, is thrilled to have two interns, Tyler Berryman and Dawson Collins, supporting the school's marketing, communications, and fundraising efforts as the school prepares for its annual auction, A Night for Blue and White, on March 22nd.
In the lower school, Gavin Britt, Jay Gaston, River Harrell, Frankie Jones, Lucas Cutchins, and Antron Gray work alongside teachers in various roles, from assembling materials and making copies to directly assisting students in their learning.
Several students have taken on dual internships, contributing in multiple capacities across the school. Ridgecroft is enthusiastic about the impact these senior interns will make this semester and looks forward to their continued growth and contributions to the Ridgecroft community.

Congratulations to Molli Rose, Ridgecroft School’s Inaugural Teacher of the Month!
We are thrilled to announce the very first recipient of our Teacher of the Month initiative, Molli Rose! Sponsored by our Ridgecroft PTO, this program allows us to honor the hard work, dedication, and passion of our incredible teaching staff. Molli truly embodies what it means to be an outstanding educator, and we are so grateful for all she brings to our school community.
A Few Highlights About Mrs. Rose:
•Years Teaching: Since 1992 (with a brief hiatus as a caseworker at the local mental health center)
•Experience: Molli has taught 6th through 12th grade English, Social Studies, and even led Effective Teacher Training at COA.
•Education: Bachelor's in Middle Grades SS/LA from NCSU, Master's in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, National Board Certified in Early Adolescent Language Arts, and certified as an Instructional Specialist.
•Favorite Quote: "In case no one has told you today, YOU are amazing!"
•Classroom Motto: “Find the Awesome in the Awful!”
•Favorite Scripture: 2 Tim 1:7 “For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind.”
Fun Fact: As an English teacher, Mrs. Rose says, "I can’t pick just one favorite book!" But when pressed, she shared Lord of the Flies by William Golding is a top contender!
Why Mrs. Rose Loves Ridgecroft: “Ridgecroft is a wonderful place to teach and learn. I love the family atmosphere among students and teachers. This gem of a school is right here in my community, just twelve minutes from home,” says Molli. Her heartfelt gratitude comes from personal experience—after spending 9 months non-weight bearing in a wheelchair, Molli received an outpouring of support from the Ridgecroft family, including visits, meals, and encouragement. “The faculty even pitched in to teach parts of my classes while I was in the hospital. They gave me a senior intern to help ease my transition back last semester. I feel blessed to work here, and tell everyone that!”
As part of her recognition, Mrs. Rose now has a special sign displayed outside her classroom for the month, celebrating her hard work and dedication. Each month, this sign will move to the next Teacher of the Month, ensuring every outstanding educator gets their moment to shine! Mrs. Rose will also receive an Amazon gift card as a token of appreciation for all she does for Ridgecroft and her students.
Let’s all take a moment to congratulate Molli Rose on this well-deserved recognition!
